Rita Bretão é uma jovem atriz portuguesa, natural da Ilha Terceira, nos Açores, que tem vindo a destacar-se no panorama audiovisual nacional. Em 2024, integrou o elenco do filme Na Mata dos Medos, realizado por António Borges Correia, e protagonizou a curta-metragem Maria Inês, de João Carmo. Este ano, poderemos vê-la na novela A Herança, produzida pela SP Televisão, e como protagonista da curta Estou Aqui. Acabou também de rodar o novo filme da realizadora Catarina Mourão, Hera. Com uma carreira em ascensão e uma presença marcante no ecrã, Rita Bretão é uma das promessas mais entusiasmantes da representação em Portugal.

Rita Bretão is a young Portuguese actress from Terceira Island in the Azores, who has been making her mark on the national audiovisual scene. In 2024, she joined the cast of the feature film Na Mata dos Medos, directed by António Borges Correia, and played the lead role in the short film Maria Inês, by João Carmo. This year, she will appear in the telenovela A Herança, produced by SP Televisão, and stars in the short film Estou Aqui. She has also recently wrapped filming on Hera, the latest project by acclaimed director Catarina Mourão.
