Rita Bretão é uma atriz portuguesa, natural da Ilha Terceira, nos Açores, com um percurso em rápida afirmação entre cinema, televisão e palco.
No cinema, participou na longa-metragem Na Mata dos Medos, de António Borges Correia, e filmou Hera, de Catarina Mourão. Mais recentemente, integrou o elenco de Saudade, de Edgar Gomes Ferreira, atualmente em pós-produção.
Na televisão, está no ar em A Herança (SIC) e é uma das protagonistas de Lua Vermelha: Nova Geração (OPTO / Prime Video). Protagoniza ainda o micro-série Herança Fatal (RTP).
Encontra-se neste momento em ensaios para The Taming of the Shrew, de William Shakespeare, onde interpreta a personagem Bianca.

Rita Bretão is a Portuguese actress from Terceira Island in the Azores, with a career gaining momentum across film, television, and stage.
In film, she appeared in the feature Na Mata dos Medos, directed by António Borges Correia, and filmed Hera, directed by Catarina Mourão. More recently, she joined the cast of Saudade, directed by Edgar Gomes Ferreira, currently in post-production.
