Gabriel Antunes, ator luso-americano, nascido nos Estados Unidos e com um percurso construído entre Portugal e o Reino Unido. Cresceu no Algarve, onde iniciou a sua formação em representação, antes de se mudar para Londres para concluir o BA Acting no London College of Music. Tendo o português e o inglês como línguas nativas, trabalha profissionalmente em ambos os idiomas.

No cinema, interpreta Young Dean Barry em Hey Joe, de Claudio Giovannesi, apresentado no Festival de Cinema de Roma, dando vida à versão mais jovem da personagem protagonizada por James Franco. Integra também Borges and Me, de Marc Turtletaub.

Mais recentemente, integrou a terceira temporada de The Forsytes, produção para a ITV e Masterpiece, e filmou Eloise, realizado por Amy Sherman-Palladino para a Netflix. Entre os seus restantes trabalhos encontram-se FBI: International, da CBS, e What It Feels Like for a Girl, série da BBC Three nomeada para cinco prémios BAFTA, realizada por Brian Welsh.

Foi também selecionado para o PASSAPORTE em 2025, programa de desenvolvimento e internacionalização de atores portugueses criado pela casting director Patrícia Vasconcelos.

Gabriel Antunes is a Portuguese-American actor, born in the United States, whose journey has developed between Portugal and the United Kingdom. He grew up in the Algarve, where he began his acting training, before moving to London to complete a BA in Acting at the London College of Music. A native speaker of both Portuguese and English, he works professionally in both languages.

In film, he plays Young Dean Barry in Hey Joe, directed by Claudio Giovannesi and presented at the Rome Film Festival, portraying the younger version of the character played by James Franco. He also appears in Borges and Me, directed by Marc Turtletaub.

More recently, Gabriel joined the third season of The Forsytes for ITV and Masterpiece, and filmed Eloise, directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino for Netflix. His other credits include CBS’ FBI: International and the BBC Three series What It Feels Like for a Girl, directed by Brian Welsh and nominated for five BAFTA Awards.

Gabriel was also selected for PASSAPORTE last year, a professional development and internationalisation programme for Portuguese actors created by casting director Patrícia Vasconcelos.
